Our boat is a Gemini 105mc made by Performance Cruising..

Geminis were built in Annapolis Maryland, USA, in large numbers by an English Designer Tony Smith, relatively few made it to Europe.
Everyone has their own style of boat that suits them best. For me, the list below describes what I wanted.
- Catamaran
- Shallow draft
- Good upwind performance
- Single handed Capability
- Manouverable.
- Able to take the ground.
- Narrow enough for the French Canals.
Well she was a good fit on most of these, but I have never made it down the French Canals, and to be truthful I very rarely beach her, not that she’s not capable but you have to be 100% sure the sea bed is flat and free from debris, as she does not have keels.

To date she’s sailed about 12000 miles, We’ve had a few mishaps along the way, but she’s got us through safely. This year has seen a big refit, including New rigging and two new sails. New gas hob and oven and new water heater, on top of the usual yearly maintenance items.
